Self compassion is a very important part of self care.
Daily plus whenever you feel you need it, choose any one or more of the following that appeal
- Give yourself a big hug;
- Rock yourself a little;
- Kiss yourself;
- Smile lovingly to yourself;
- Stroke your face, arms, head…;
- Wriggle;
- Shake it out;
- Stretch
Then say this to yourself…
– There there sweetheart, it’s ok to feel…
– It’s ok
– All is well
– Just take some slow deep breaths
– Everything’s rigged and working in your favour
– It truly is
– You’re home now
– You’re safe
– You’re loved
– Trust my little love
– I’m here for you
– I’m holding you
– I’ve got you
– I love you
– All is well
