Are you putting up boundaries or barriers?
Boundaries define what does and does not serve us.
Boundaries are easily installed by those who feel confident and whole.
Barriers limit us and prevent our receiving and achieving.
Barriers usually come from an internal sense of feeling unsafe and/or not enough.
Boundaries are the essence of discernment. What do I allow in? What do I keep out?
This applies at every level, in your personal and professional life.
- Physical level – which people, books, movies, social media, activities, etc. lift your spirits? Which do not lift it?
- Emotional level – which feelings are you focusing on and feeding… the ones that make you feel good or low?
- Mental level – which thoughts are productive, moving you closer to your goal and which are not?
It might help to divide your To Do list, into three separate categories:
- I Have To list
- I Want To list
- Others Want Me To list
