Your Thermostat

 THE THERMOSTAT GAME

Ever noticed how a thermostat maintains a room’s temperature by adjusting it, as needed, to keep things feeling just right?

Now, imagine you have an internal thermostat – a subconscious setting, that regulates various aspects of your life: weight, wealth, relationships, happiness, and more.

This internal setting often stems from early life experiences, family beliefs, and societal norms. Without conscious awareness, it can keep you within a familiar comfort zone, even if that zone doesn’t align with your current goals, values, or priorities.

Let’s Play

For best results in every step:

1. Connect: Take a moment to connect with your inner guidance system – be it God, the Universe, or your intuition—for accurate and reliable support.

2. Focus: Hold your current top-priority goal in mind throughout the exercise.

3. Stay Open: Approach each step with neutrality, curiosity, and a willingness to explore.

Step 1: Identify Your Current Settings

Reflect on your goal. Ask yourself:

• What is the lowest point I tend to reach before I take action to make beneficial changes?

• What is the highest point I reach before I start to self-sabotage and/or feel uncomfortable?

Example:

Let’s say, you want to weigh 64kg and at the moment you weigh 85kg. And no matter how hard you’ve dieted, exercised and every other suggested action, there’s been little to no change and/or your weight has been going up and down like a yo-yo.

This may well be a reflection of the settings on your internal thermostat.

Step 2: Determine Your Ideal Range

Consider:

• What range would feel both challenging and achievable for me?

• What settings align with my goal, values and priorities?

This new range becomes your target for resetting your internal thermostat.

Step 3: Take a Small, Joyful Step

Ask yourself:

• What is one small, joyful action I can take today that aligns with my new settings?

This step should feel good and reinforce your new range.

Step 4: Observe and Adjust

After taking your step:

• Notice any resistance or discomfort.

• Acknowledge these feelings without judgment.

• Remind yourself that growth often involves stepping outside of your comfort zone.

Game Over – Congratulations – Well Done! 👏

You’ve taken a meaningful step toward aligning your internal settings with your true desires.

Feel free to revisit this exercise:

• With the same goal to reinforce your new settings.

• With a different goal to explore other areas of growth.

Remember:

• Each time you engage in this practice, you strengthen your intuition.

• You gain valuable insights that propel you toward your goals.

• As you evolve, your internal settings will naturally adjust to support your growth.

Enjoy the journey!

With love,

x Judy
