An old Cherokee chief was teaching his grandson about life.
His grandson came to him very upset and confused about what was happening in the world.
He asks his grandfather “What’s going on with these wars, hunger, poverty, sickness, murder…”
His grandfather replies: “Inside everyone are 2 wolves and they are always at war”.
The ‘bad’ wolf feeds on shame, guilt, grief, fear, anger, sorrow, regret, apathy, greed, self-pity, worry, anxiety, negativity, doubt and false pride.
The ‘good’ wolf feeds on joy, peace, love, humility, positivity, optimism, willingness,
forgiveness, compassion, acceptance, understanding, kindness and faith.”
“This same fight is going on inside of you, grandson… and inside of every person on this earth.”
The grandson ponders this for a moment and then asks, “Grandfather, which wolf wins?
His grandfather smiled and simply says, “The One You Feed.”
~ Feed the Good Wolf
Example:
‘Bad’ wolf – you may feel angry, be experiencing pain, loss…. give this no attention, otherwise you’re feeding it and creating more of it.
‘Good’ wolf – you feel happy, free, abundant…. focus on this, feed this and create more of this.
Every day, discover the name of your Good Wolf & feed it.
Enjoy the difference!
