Inspiring you… to keep going
Just when you think,
“Well, this is it – as good as it gets,”
Life throws a curly one.
Something unexpected, wonderful, strangely timed or perfectly aligned appears.
And suddenly… you’re out of the funk.
You can breathe again.
You catch a glimpse of light – even if it’s only a glimmer.
It’s a reminder:
You’re not on this journey alone.
You’re here to co-create with Life.
Even the smallest step you take…
The Universe takes ten thousand more to meet you.
So here’s your bit: 3 options.
Option 1: Look For The Light
Start with what feels dreadful or stuck right now – like an endless dark tunnel.
Where might even the tiniest flicker be?
Start small. Always a baby step.
That key opens the door.
Here’s a few examples – you may well resonate with one of these or create one of your own.
Example 1:
• Stuck in traffic?
Thanks – I’ve got a car, a licence, music to play.
Example 2:
• Long queue at the shops?
Thanks – The shop’s stocked with food – I don’t need to hunt or forage for it. I’ve got money for food, I’m mobile.
Example 3:
• Can’t sleep?
Thanks – I have a bed, shelter. My body’s still working. Maybe there’s something I need to listen to in the stillness, the quiet.
Example 4:
• Argued with someone I care about?
Thanks – It matters because we care.
I have people in my life close enough to spark friction – and that means there’s a chance to repair, to grow, to reconnect.
Example 5:
• Feeling behind in life?
Thanks – I care about making the most of my time and my life. This could be the perfect time and place to re-choose what I actually value.
Shifting your lens.
Changes coming right up.
Yep – did you notice more lights come on?
Like a house that was once dark… now beginning to show – someone’s home.
Option 2: The Worry Journal
Yes, gratitude journals are powerful.
But here’s a twist: try a worry journal.
Each day, write down your worries as they show up.
Then track them.
Did it happen?
No?
Mark it.
This clever little flip – builds tangible proof that most of what you fear… never arrives.
This isn’t about blind positivity.
It’s about showing your nervous system the facts –
So it can finally stand down.
Seems odd.
Works wonders.
Option 3: The Mind Shift
Next time you catch yourself thinking or saying:
“What if this goes wrong?”
Go for this instead:
“What if this goes well – really, really well?”
“What if it turns out even better than I imagined, expected, or thought possible?”
Here’s the thing:
At first – you start thinking it might be okay.
The more you do this…
Might becomes likely.
Likely becomes looking good.
Looking good becomes this is actually fabulous.
Why?
You’re training your RAS (reticular activating system – the algorithm in your brain),
to look for, expect and land the good stuff.
Hang in there.
You’re not stuck.
You’re mid-miracle.
